REVIEW:

The 4th installment of The Edens series doesnt disappoint. I was super excited to get Eloise story after her ups and downs in the past books dealing with the hotel that she loved so much.

Jasper Vale follows Eloise and Jasper, the best friend of Foster from the previous book. He and Eloise celebrate Fosters last fight in Vegas but some how end up with a wild hair and get married. Neither really discuss the issue until they get back to Eden, but both can't avoid each other or the Edens finding out. Once they are found out its all about trying to make it work until they can finalize an annulment or divorce. But neither can deny their chemistry or how much their support each other emotionally and with their families.

Eloise has the biggest heart, she just cant say no to people and it gets her constantly in situations that cause problems. I loved how Jasper supported her and encouraged her to speak up as well as speak the truth that people are stepping all over her and her kindness. Eloise sees the damage that Jaspers family and ex have caused, she too supports and pushes for him to rid of the toxicity that they all come with. They both saw the goodness in each other and really made them grow stronger without noticing.

In the end there are a lot of ups and down, but the romance and the emotion, just like the past stories is wonderfully crafted by Perry. I always love her small town stories and beautiful flawed characters. This was another win for Perry and another book I can't wait to read again.

REVIEW

Samantha Young is one of my go to authors for romance, she always find a way to make the readers feel so connected to the characters and invested in their romance.

A Cosmic Kind of Love follow Hallie, a pink haired sweet, people pleasing event coordinator, who comes across a video diary of a clients ex while planning an event. She immediately connects with this man, Christopher Ortiz, a well known astronaut who she feels is a kindred spirit. Funny enough she decides to email him of accidently coming across the videos but it bounces back, causing her to send her own video diaries knowing hell never see them, or will he?

I loved the development of how Hallie and Christopher meet, they are both trying to find themselves still. Hallie trying to get out from under her parents drama and be her best self, while Christopher is trying to figure out his next step for his career while his controlling father pushes him. They may be so different in where they are but both had such a beautiful connection and just got each other when know one else in their lives did. There are a lot of bumps in the road that challenge their friendship and their blooming romance.

Overall I loved it, it was a sweet story with lots of emotion and a beautifully crafted romance. Splashes of humor, great side characters made for a great story and another favorite of Samantha Young's.

REVIEW

I adore this series, each story brings together two people you wouldn't think would be a good match and makes the reader root for each fantastic couple. This time around the focus is on Larke, sister of Kerrigan from book 3, who is a hard working single mom that is taken for a whirlwind, when a student decides to sue her over a grade. The one helping the student is newcomer Ronan Thatcher, whose trying to fit into this small town and meets a student whom he knows there is more to her story. Plus the teacher whom he can't stop thinking about, even after many rejections.

Nash does a fantastic job with the emotional side to her stories, in such a small town, everyone knows everyone and everything that's going on. The town and people itself are their own side characters. The romance is always hot, the connection and steam that comes in every meeting between Ronan and Larke is fire. Many past characters are back but also some great and well written new ones.

In the end I can't wait for the next one following Wilder Abbot who is a fellow teacher of Larkes and the most broody man around, but his history is heartbreaking so I don't blame the broodiness.

REVIEW:

As much as I loved the first book in this series Maddox and Ashley won me over right off. Fling follows Maddox, the brother of Moss from the first book who decides to go on a trip with his long time friend Ashley who just broke off her engagement to a horrible man. They both decide to get the best out of their "honeymoon" trip, their connection has always been fire, but now stepping over friendship and becoming something more may risk that special something they have always had.

I loved this story so much, they both have different ideals on romance, where Ashley wants a committed love, Maddox is not someone who sticks around. But Ashley has always been different for him and this chance to be with her temporarily he wont miss out on. Once again the Carmichael family brings out the laughs in between all the hot and heavy romance. I love the relationship the who family has, the brothers enjoy pushing each others buttons and while their parents and sister look on and deal with the chaos.

In the end I love the realness of Maddox and Ashley's relationship, they both grew and they both learned what they were really needing out of life and romance. I can't wait for the next book Fluke.

This is a quick read and introduction into a suspenseful and steamy story about two people , Carter and June who are on an island after a crash. The catch is Carter is keeping something from June and that secret caused the crash and now they are running from whoever wants them dead.

This was a great introduction that left me wanting more and two character whom I can't wait to get to know more about. I can tell this is not only going to be a suspenseful series but a steamy one with the chemistry Carter and June have. Can't wait for the next installment.

REVIEW:

The Adair Family series has become one of my favorites, this family has grown so much and each time the couple is tested, they each have fears of opening up and all have a past that causes them to faulter with their trust. Be With Me I feel is the one that hit more emotional feels. Mostly because of Eredine, who is the quiet, sweet and shy yoga instructor and dear friend to many in the Adair family. Her past broke my heart and what she had to overcome just tugged at all the feels, and the Arran, his past broke my heart as well and I couldn't wait for these two to find happiness.

Be with Me follows Eredine who has become not only close with the whole Adair family but more so with the youngest brother Arran. The two have found a comfortable friendship, but when neither can deny their spark, the trust is tested, and even more so when their pasts have brought danger to Scottish Highlands once again.

I don't want to give too much away, but Young has a way with her character building and world building that always hooks me. Eredine and Arran have this amazing chemistry, its sexy and they both have this fire to them. All the past couples are back of course and moving forward with their romances as well as starting families. They have become a complex family of support and laughter, as well as suspense, they mystery and danger that is brought into each story because the family is in the spotlight always brings in a twist.

I can't wait for the last Adairs story with Brodan, his love interests was finally introduced and I know their is a great story there!

Anything that Kristen Proby writes I'm three and one clicking immediately. I was super excited for a new small town series and even more excited when there were small paranormal elements mixed in.

Lighthouse Way follow Luna who life in the small-town of Huckleberry Bay, she owns the lighthouse that has been passed down through generations. Her goal of opening up her Bed and breakfast is coming together and thanks to her ancestor who still resided at her home and keeps an eye on the place, she feels everything is going right. The boy from her childhood Wolfe returns to town after a horrible racing accident that ended his career due to a brain injury. Wolfe and Lunda immediately connect again and the sparks fly. But Luna has her plans laid out and Wolfe is something she wasn't prepared for.

This is a quick read, I loved the setting of Huckleberry Bay and all the secondary characters. Especially Luna's two close friends June and Sarah whom has just returned to town. The side story of Rose the mysterious presence that lives at the lighthouse was a fun twist, the Diary that the girls dig into at a young age that adds to some flashbacks to the past was wonderful. I did wish I would of gotten more of her Luna's past with Wolfe and more about their lives growing up in town. Wolfe and Luna have a wonderful connection, its steamy, sweet and they just click, they both come from different worlds but this small town is what brings them together again and its super sweet.

If your looking for a sweet, steamy romance that has wonderful characters and makes you want to immerse yourself into a small town, look no further. I can't wait for the next book that will follow Sarah and Tanner, who have a romantic history, but Sarah has just come out of a terrible marriage and so much is a mystery about her years away from Huckleberry.

REVIEW:

I've been waiting for the story on Mac and Arrochar, in the prior two books, Young has hinted at their connect or relationship and I was not disappointed. Each character in the Adair family has fallen for someone connected to their partner, first the daughter of Mac, then Mac's daughters half sister and now Mac. Its one interesting family dynamics but the love is so real and so deep.

Always You follows Arrochar, the only girl in the Adair family and beloved sister to all her brothers. She is also a forest engineer and one of the best on the job. When her bosses assistant starts giving her bad vibes it adds to the stress of her life, but even more so when she starts receiving threats similar to her brothers from on ongoing case. Now her family is determined to keep her safe and figure out who is behind the threats and Mac the man who stole her heart and broke it is constantly there protecting her. Even though he wants to keep her at arms length because she is his bosses sister, his heart and hers are not waiting them to be separated.

The story shows glimpses of the past and way Mac and Arrochar relationship is so strained. They both have this undeniable connection but Mac has issues with his past that keeps him from Arrochar and it caused something to break in Arrochar. Adding to the mystery of who is behind the threats, it puts these two into danger. The past couples are of course there as support, but we get to see how things are progressing in their relationships as well.

In the end I love this series, there is always suspense and always steamy moments, but the characters are wonderfully done and Young always knows how to draw her readers in. I can't wait to see which Adair is next .

REVIEW:

The fifth installment to the Interstellar Brides Program spinoff, The Beast follows Elena, who rushes onto the set of The Bachelor Ball, where they are currently looking for the mate match of Warlord Tane. Elena is looking for Abby, the young daughter to her powerful boss and horrible man, who also hates the coalition and aliens. What Elena wasn't expecting was to come face to face with Tane and Tanes beast be instantly connect to her. But that's only the beginning of their problems.

I've read all the prior spinoffs and the original series and I still can't get enough of these alpha male aliens claiming their mates, while also the side story of the pending fight against the Hive lingers in the background. I loved the world building, the differences between all the alien species and most of all the utter devotion to these unexpecting women whom they fall for.

I don't wat to give too much away but past characters will pop up and mentions from other series as well. But this story focuses on Elena and her Beast and how they need to overcome the complexity of falling for an alien on earth.

I walk him to his truck, where things get awkward—at least for me. After completely screwing up our date, now I’m shoving him off. I stand here, shuffling my feet, staring at the ground. “Sorry I fu—messed up our date.”
His finger catches me under my chin, and I look up straight into a pair of amused blue eyes. “You can make it up to me tomorrow night. No dogs this time though. Your sister can watch them.”
I hold my hand up. “Erick, I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
He shakes his head. “You have no intention of even trying to see if we’re good together, do you?” He doesn’t sound mad at all. If it’s possible, he looks even more amused.
I narrow my eyes at him. He’s not taking me seriously at all. “I don’t have time for a relationship right now. I have a business to build up, a sister whose life is imploding, and a nephew to spoil. There’s no room in there for an overbearing alpha male. So no matter how hard you try, you won’t make me budge.”
A wide grin forms across his face. “Challenge accepted.”
Oh, crap. Before I can get another word out, he pulls me into him tight. His hands cup my head, fingers tangle in my hair, and his mouth comes down on mine.
I gasp in surprise, and he immediately takes advantage. He slides his tongue in and it brushes against mine, lightly at first. I freeze, but then my hand automatically curls into his shirt. That’s when he goes in for the kill. It’s not a rough, overwhelming kiss. Instead, he sips at my mouth like he’s savoring it. It’s soft and seductive.
Very seductive.
My eyes close, my head tilts for a better angle and I melt into him as desire pools in my belly. This is good. No, not just good, it’s better than I imagined it would be, and I knew it would be fucking amazing.
With one last stroke of his tongue, he breaks it off. Leaning back, he grins.
“Six o’clock, Rosalie.”
He turns and hops into his truck. With a wink, he starts it and I step back.
He reverses and then is gone, leaving me standing here speechless.
As I watch his taillights disappear around the bend, my hand reaches up and touches my lips, still warm and tingly from that kiss.
I just had to challenge the Viking warrior. I’m going to be screwed, both figuratively and literally. And after that kiss, I’m not sure I care.
