As teenagers, Callie Ironside and Lewis Adair were inseparable. So much so, Lewis still can’t work out where it all went horribly wrong, or why he’s spent the last seven years in London away from the love of his life.
Callie knows exactly where it all went wrong and while she tried to move on—learning pastry techniques in Paris and dating French men—returning home to Ardnoch to work in her mother’s bakery only reminds her of the future she lost with Lewis.
But when a visit to London brings them unexpectedly together, the passion, pain and animosity between them leads to a one-night stand. For Lewis, it’s the beginning of winning Callie and his life in Ardnoch back. For Callie, it’s a mistake that’s shaken up the devastating heartbreak she fought hard to forget. However, Lewis is determined to fight for her, and proves it when their night together results in more than just unresolved feelings.
As they come to grips with impending parenthood and the mistakes they’ve both made, Callie and Lewis will not only have to decide to fight for a love that has endured so many years apart, but a mysterious adversary who seems intent on destroying the future they’re building together.
REVIEW:
I was super excited for this story because of how Callie and Lewis were in the prior series, I knew they were meant to be but was curious on how they got there.
Callie and her mother went through hell and back because of her father, their journey through he moms romance was one of my favorite stories. With what she went through Callie struggled with her emotional response and she acted before she thought the whole thing through. Even though i struggled with her actions because I felt they were slightly immature for her age, what she went through as a child made me more sympathetic.
Lewis stole my heart as a sweet kiddo, I loved how as a child he was so protective and trying to be strong like his father and uncles. As an adult he is one of my favorites, he in a way had to grow up fast, he had a great family but the loss of his mother and not having that connection matured him. I love that he is caring and learned to be more watchful of his younger sister half sister. Just like his father and uncles the protectiveness and wanting to be there is so strong. But its his love for Callie that never goes away is what I adored the most about him. He's always loved her and was broken when he lost her.
In the end Samantha Young knows her audience, she knows how much we care for all the characters in her series, both past and present. The readers get updates on the past couples and learn more information about characters that will be the focus of the future. I can't wait to know more about Lewis sisters and their journeys to finding happiness.

Review:
Marriage of Convenience Done Right
Samantha Young is one of my top five favorite romance authors, I love her world building. Character growths, and of course the romance.
The Highland series continues as a sequel to the Adair series with secondary characters now getting their own stories. I was super excited to not only get Jareds story but also Aria's sister Allegra.
This story focuses a lot on Jared and Allgeras past. Jared grew up with an awful father figure and lost the one man who became his father figure. Allegra has to deal with her parents' constant horrible treatment, and everyone around her treats her like she's always badly behaved, but she's been hiding a secret. Together, these two help each other heal but are able to face their fears because of each other support.
As always with Youngs stories, there is a mystery hidden, and it makes the readers constantly guess who is behind it all.
In the end, I have to say this was my favorite story in the Highland series. I have been rooting Allegra after her first introduction, and Jared's love for his cousin just warmed my heart with how much of a big brother type he is.
I can't wait for more of this series, and I can see the possibility of the children getting their stories told in the future.
It's been a long time since Walker Ironside left behind Scotland and the memories that haunt him. Yet after years of traveling the world as a bodyguard, Walker misses his homeland enough to return. To a village in the Scottish Highlands that plays host to an exclusive members-only club, Ardnoch Estate. If not happy, Walker is content working with the elite security at the club and maintaining his bachelor lifestyle. What he doesn't need is distraction in the form of the enticing but too-young newcomer, single mother Sloane Harrow.
Sloane never imagined she'd get pregnant at sixteen. Or that a decade later she'd escape from California with her daughter, Callie, to start over in the Scottish Highlands. Hidden and safe from Callie's dangerous father, Sloane is satisfied with their new lives. Her daughter is happy. Sloane has a stable job, a quaint cottage, a passion for baking that might just be turning into a business, and a huge crush on brooding security guard Walker Ironside. Unfortunately, the grumpy Scot seems immune to Sloane's charm, but she can't help but try to seduce him with cupcakes and baked treats whenever the opportunity arises.
However, when someone arrives in Ardnoch intent on destroying Sloane's life, Walker is the first to step forward to protect her and Callie. Even if it means giving into temptation and awakening his own demons. Because in doing so, Walker faces failing not only to shield Sloane from her past, but to safeguard her against his own.
REVIEW:
After falling in love with the Adair series I thought it was going to be hard to move on from that world and into another, Thankfully Young kept her readers in the same beautiful location and were able to see how the other couples have been doing.
Beyond the Thistles follows Sloane, who is trying to start over in her life, leaving the horrible life she left behind and is hiding from, for a new start for herself and her daughter. Her boss and friend offered her a position at a special members only club which offered her a lot and a safe place her her daughter. Now that they are settled in and she also starts baking locally, her true passion, she cant help but notice the brooding but sexy Walker Ironside, who left his position as a bodyguard for on of the Adairs to working at the same members only estate.
Walker is a little trick and extremely closed off, even though he wants to keep Sloane at a safe distance she and her daughter are hard to say no too. Especially when danger from her past comes knocking.
As always, the mystery, suspense and romance is top notch with Samantha Young. her beautiful world building and the Scottish Highland setting is always wonderfully done. Walker and Sloane stole my heart as my new favorite couple, and I loved getting to know more side characters from the past series and seeing some old favorites.

REVIEW:
I love this series so much, but Only You hit me a little different, it was very emotional and heartbreaking and I loved every minute of it. The two leads were so hurt by the past and had to overcome so much to push forward. Their journey was beautifully written and all the past characters helped guide them to where they needed to go.
Only You follows Monroe Sinclair, a long time family friend of the Adairs and best friend or former best friend of Brodan Adair. Something in the past hurt Brodan and Monroe which lead to a bitter and heartbreaking end to their friendship. When Brodan decides to come home after years of avoiding family and his heartbreak being in the limelight, he has to come face to face with his past. Monroe has to deal with Brodans distain and horrible treatment, I felt for her and wished he could see how much it hurt her. Both characters had a lot of pain and a lot of growth through the story and Young always does a fantastic job intertwining her series together with the past characters.
In the end I loved this one so much, the epilogue was always a wonderful bonus to see everyone in their happy places. There were two new characters introduced that I'm looking forward to hopefully coming back to see how their possible romance turns out too.
Eloise Eden's pride and joy is her family's hotel in Quincy, Montana. Her lifelong dream is to own The Eloise Inn. All she has to do is prove to her parents that she's the epitome of responsible. That her days of being duped and making reckless decisions are history. She's so close she can taste it.
Until after one weekend in Las Vegas, she comes home married to a stranger.
Jasper must have put her under a spell with those soul-deep eyes because after a single night together, they woke up husband and wife. Her only hope is to keep this marriage a secret until it's annulled. Then she'll pretend it never happened.
Except Jasper begs her to stay married. To fake it for three months so she can accompany him to a wedding. Maybe she's lost her mind to agree. But her brooding husband seems desperate. It's only three months, right? Then she'll say goodbye to Jasper Vale, and with any luck, hello to her new hotel.
REVIEW:
The 4th installment of The Edens series doesnt disappoint. I was super excited to get Eloise story after her ups and downs in the past books dealing with the hotel that she loved so much.
Jasper Vale follows Eloise and Jasper, the best friend of Foster from the previous book. He and Eloise celebrate Fosters last fight in Vegas but some how end up with a wild hair and get married. Neither really discuss the issue until they get back to Eden, but both can't avoid each other or the Edens finding out. Once they are found out its all about trying to make it work until they can finalize an annulment or divorce. But neither can deny their chemistry or how much their support each other emotionally and with their families.
Eloise has the biggest heart, she just cant say no to people and it gets her constantly in situations that cause problems. I loved how Jasper supported her and encouraged her to speak up as well as speak the truth that people are stepping all over her and her kindness. Eloise sees the damage that Jaspers family and ex have caused, she too supports and pushes for him to rid of the toxicity that they all come with. They both saw the goodness in each other and really made them grow stronger without noticing.
In the end there are a lot of ups and down, but the romance and the emotion, just like the past stories is wonderfully crafted by Perry. I always love her small town stories and beautiful flawed characters. This was another win for Perry and another book I can't wait to read again.

Space is the last thing an event planner and an astronaut need in this charming new romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Samantha Young.

And it's not long until she starts sending e-mails and video diaries to his discontinued NASA address. Since they're bouncing back, there's no way anyone will ever be able to see them...right?

Separated by screens, Hallie and Chris are falling in love with each other, one transmission at a time. But can they make their star-crossed romance work when they each learn the other's baggage?
REVIEW
Samantha Young is one of my go to authors for romance, she always find a way to make the readers feel so connected to the characters and invested in their romance.
A Cosmic Kind of Love follow Hallie, a pink haired sweet, people pleasing event coordinator, who comes across a video diary of a clients ex while planning an event. She immediately connects with this man, Christopher Ortiz, a well known astronaut who she feels is a kindred spirit. Funny enough she decides to email him of accidently coming across the videos but it bounces back, causing her to send her own video diaries knowing hell never see them, or will he?
I loved the development of how Hallie and Christopher meet, they are both trying to find themselves still. Hallie trying to get out from under her parents drama and be her best self, while Christopher is trying to figure out his next step for his career while his controlling father pushes him. They may be so different in where they are but both had such a beautiful connection and just got each other when know one else in their lives did. There are a lot of bumps in the road that challenge their friendship and their blooming romance.
Overall I loved it, it was a sweet story with lots of emotion and a beautifully crafted romance. Splashes of humor, great side characters made for a great story and another favorite of Samantha Young's.

REVIEW
I adore this series, each story brings together two people you wouldn't think would be a good match and makes the reader root for each fantastic couple. This time around the focus is on Larke, sister of Kerrigan from book 3, who is a hard working single mom that is taken for a whirlwind, when a student decides to sue her over a grade. The one helping the student is newcomer Ronan Thatcher, whose trying to fit into this small town and meets a student whom he knows there is more to her story. Plus the teacher whom he can't stop thinking about, even after many rejections.
Nash does a fantastic job with the emotional side to her stories, in such a small town, everyone knows everyone and everything that's going on. The town and people itself are their own side characters. The romance is always hot, the connection and steam that comes in every meeting between Ronan and Larke is fire. Many past characters are back but also some great and well written new ones.
In the end I can't wait for the next one following Wilder Abbot who is a fellow teacher of Larkes and the most broody man around, but his history is heartbreaking so I don't blame the broodiness.

REVIEW:
As much as I loved the first book in this series Maddox and Ashley won me over right off. Fling follows Maddox, the brother of Moss from the first book who decides to go on a trip with his long time friend Ashley who just broke off her engagement to a horrible man. They both decide to get the best out of their "honeymoon" trip, their connection has always been fire, but now stepping over friendship and becoming something more may risk that special something they have always had.
I loved this story so much, they both have different ideals on romance, where Ashley wants a committed love, Maddox is not someone who sticks around. But Ashley has always been different for him and this chance to be with her temporarily he wont miss out on. Once again the Carmichael family brings out the laughs in between all the hot and heavy romance. I love the relationship the who family has, the brothers enjoy pushing each others buttons and while their parents and sister look on and deal with the chaos.
In the end I love the realness of Maddox and Ashley's relationship, they both grew and they both learned what they were really needing out of life and romance. I can't wait for the next book Fluke.

REVIEW:
The Adair Family series has become one of my favorites, this family has grown so much and each time the couple is tested, they each have fears of opening up and all have a past that causes them to faulter with their trust. Be With Me I feel is the one that hit more emotional feels. Mostly because of Eredine, who is the quiet, sweet and shy yoga instructor and dear friend to many in the Adair family. Her past broke my heart and what she had to overcome just tugged at all the feels, and the Arran, his past broke my heart as well and I couldn't wait for these two to find happiness.
Be with Me follows Eredine who has become not only close with the whole Adair family but more so with the youngest brother Arran. The two have found a comfortable friendship, but when neither can deny their spark, the trust is tested, and even more so when their pasts have brought danger to Scottish Highlands once again.
I don't want to give too much away, but Young has a way with her character building and world building that always hooks me. Eredine and Arran have this amazing chemistry, its sexy and they both have this fire to them. All the past couples are back of course and moving forward with their romances as well as starting families. They have become a complex family of support and laughter, as well as suspense, they mystery and danger that is brought into each story because the family is in the spotlight always brings in a twist.
I can't wait for the last Adairs story with Brodan, his love interests was finally introduced and I know their is a great story there!

Anything that Kristen Proby writes I'm three and one clicking immediately. I was super excited for a new small town series and even more excited when there were small paranormal elements mixed in.
Lighthouse Way follow Luna who life in the small-town of Huckleberry Bay, she owns the lighthouse that has been passed down through generations. Her goal of opening up her Bed and breakfast is coming together and thanks to her ancestor who still resided at her home and keeps an eye on the place, she feels everything is going right. The boy from her childhood Wolfe returns to town after a horrible racing accident that ended his career due to a brain injury. Wolfe and Lunda immediately connect again and the sparks fly. But Luna has her plans laid out and Wolfe is something she wasn't prepared for.
This is a quick read, I loved the setting of Huckleberry Bay and all the secondary characters. Especially Luna's two close friends June and Sarah whom has just returned to town. The side story of Rose the mysterious presence that lives at the lighthouse was a fun twist, the Diary that the girls dig into at a young age that adds to some flashbacks to the past was wonderful. I did wish I would of gotten more of her Luna's past with Wolfe and more about their lives growing up in town. Wolfe and Luna have a wonderful connection, its steamy, sweet and they just click, they both come from different worlds but this small town is what brings them together again and its super sweet.
If your looking for a sweet, steamy romance that has wonderful characters and makes you want to immerse yourself into a small town, look no further. I can't wait for the next book that will follow Sarah and Tanner, who have a romantic history, but Sarah has just come out of a terrible marriage and so much is a mystery about her years away from Huckleberry.
