Anything that Kristen Proby writes I'm three and one clicking immediately. I was super excited for a new small town series and even more excited when there were small paranormal elements mixed in.

Lighthouse Way follow Luna who life in the small-town of Huckleberry Bay, she owns the lighthouse that has been passed down through generations. Her goal of opening up her Bed and breakfast is coming together and thanks to her ancestor who still resided at her home and keeps an eye on the place, she feels everything is going right. The boy from her childhood Wolfe returns to town after a horrible racing accident that ended his career due to a brain injury. Wolfe and Lunda immediately connect again and the sparks fly. But Luna has her plans laid out and Wolfe is something she wasn't prepared for.

This is a quick read, I loved the setting of Huckleberry Bay and all the secondary characters. Especially Luna's two close friends June and Sarah whom has just returned to town. The side story of Rose the mysterious presence that lives at the lighthouse was a fun twist, the Diary that the girls dig into at a young age that adds to some flashbacks to the past was wonderful. I did wish I would of gotten more of her Luna's past with Wolfe and more about their lives growing up in town. Wolfe and Luna have a wonderful connection, its steamy, sweet and they just click, they both come from different worlds but this small town is what brings them together again and its super sweet.

If your looking for a sweet, steamy romance that has wonderful characters and makes you want to immerse yourself into a small town, look no further. I can't wait for the next book that will follow Sarah and Tanner, who have a romantic history, but Sarah has just come out of a terrible marriage and so much is a mystery about her years away from Huckleberry.

REVIEW:
As always Devney Perry creates a small town world that I wish I could visit. The second in the Eden series captivated me a bit more than the first, I adored Memphis and her son Drake, their journey together. Both learning their new life and their new home together. Memphis is going through a big life change not only with a new baby but also because she has detached herself from her horrible family and been taken by her new boss Eloise. Eloise has her renting from her brother Knox Eden, who works as a chef at Eloise Inn, where Memphis will be working as a housekeeper. Knox isn't happy about his new neighbor but can't resist Memphis nor her adorable son Drake. But there is something Memphis is hiding from and Knox has a painful memory that she keeps reminding him off, can these two get past their painful pasts.

This story just pulled at my heart, Memphis struggles and her feeling as if she isnt doing enough for her son breaks my heart. Her journey from her old life to the reality she is put in, you feel how fast she has to learn and grow up. I loved how much she wanted to give and earn her sons love, a mother always wants to give her children everything.

Knox is one of the Edens, the brother of Griffin, whos story was in the first book. Whom the readers also get a wonderful update on. Knox use to live in another city but came back after heartbreak, he runs Knuckles the restaurant and keeps his passion for luxury food as his get away. Memphis' entry into his life has thrown him and day by day he can't stay away.

In the end these two make each other stronger and bring out the best in one enough, I loved their journey. I loved also seeing more pieces of the Eden family, whom I adore too. Perry's writing always sucks me in with her small town beautiful details and heartwarming story lines. I can't wait to see Tailia's story, especially after the small encounter with the mysteriously famous Foster.

REVIEW:

For the second installment in the Whiskey Dolls series, a spin off of the Hope Valley Series, Price give her readers a lot more humor and I absolutely loved every minute of it.

Knockout is 100% an enemies to lovers story pack with a punch. Layla has just move into the apartment of her dreams, being on the waiting list for month and finally she is moving in. However after a stolen parking spot turns into being enemies with her upstairs neighbor Jude, these two take to the extremes to make each others lives miserable. From taking laundry out of the washer before is clean and living it on the floor, to porn in the mail for all to see, these two will stop at nothing to get back at each other. Until a blind date with each other turns the tables and now Jude and Layla see the real person behind the pranks.

I loved this story so much, the pranks that these two do on each other had me cracking up and especially with the other residents in the building making bets on them was hilarious. Layla is a Whiskey Dolls girl and her friends know about her feud with her neighbor and are thrilled when they find out her blind date is actually him. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say I loved their banter and the realness when they finally have a conversation outside of the war they have going on.

As this is a romance story, the romance is fire, Jude is an alpha of all alphas and Layla gives him a heck of a challenge. They are a perfect part and know how to push buttons as well as have this smoking hot connection. There isn't a lot of secondary character time from the past book, which I didn't mind at all this time around, because Jude's Grandmother stole the show, she is 100% who I want to be when I get older. Let's just say this woman is someone who you don't want to mess with but will have your back no matter what as long as you are real with her.

In the end this is by far my favorite out of all the small town romances that Jessica Prince has written, I love them all but this one is my ultimate.

The doors of the elevator slid open and the good mood I’d been in all day evaporated like a single drop of water falling onto desert sand.

“Of freaking course,” I grumbled sullenly as Jude Kingsley stepped into the elevator.

He returned my glare before stopping beside me and turned to face the front. “And I’d been having such a good day up to this point,” he muttered bitterly.

I let out a snort and fluttered my eyelashes. “What, did you pop a little kid’s balloon? Maybe cut in front of a pregnant lady in line at the coffee shop?” I snapped my fingers. “Oh, I know! You kicked a poor, innocent puppy on the sidewalk. That’s what had you so chipper, isn’t it?”

He gave me a smirk, and damn it, why did it have to look so good on him? The son of a bitch.

“I woke up happy,” he stated, and it would have been a lie if I claimed I didn’t find that admission somewhat intriguing.

Turning to face me, he took a step toward me, closing some of the distance between us. The move was unexpected, and my heartrate spiked at his closeness. The small elevator car suddenly felt even tinier, like the walls were closing in. The air was filled with his scent. Something like cedar and sun mixed with a spicy musk that reminded me of the outdoors. My chest stuttered on a choppy inhale when I tilted my head back to look up at him. In all the months we’d been enemies, this had to be the first time we’d been so close to each other.

With hardly any space between us, I was able to see that those midnight blue eyes of his also held flecks of golden honey. He blinked slowly as he stared down at me, those long, sooty lashes lying across his sharp cheekbones before he opened them again.

“I had the best dream last night.” He stopped, waiting for me to ask what he dreamed about, like he knew that statement and his proximity had left me way off-kilter, my curiosity piqued.

Stupid intuitive jerk.

Unable to help myself, I arched a questioning brow. “Oh?”

His voice dropped lower, taking on an almost velvety soft quality. “Yeah. You were in it, princess.”

My skin felt tingly, my mouth was Sahara dry. I didn’t feel like myself all of a sudden. It was almost as if he’d cast a spell, and I was just along for the ride, unable—or maybe unwilling at that point—to take control back. It was those eyes, man. Those freaking dark, alluring, sexy bedroom eyes. There wasn’t a woman in the world who’d be able to resist their power up close. Not even me.

I tried to swallow past the cotton taking up residence in my throat and croaked, “What—what was your dream about?”

He started speaking in a tone that could only be described as intoxicating. “Well, you see, it was a beautiful, sunny day, and we were standing on the sidewalk outside the building. You were in these jeans that made your ass look incredible.” His tongue peeked out and swiped across his plump bottom lip. “I couldn’t stop staring. Then . . . ”

I was straight up enraptured at that moment.

Oh my God. What is happening right now? “Then what?”

“Then . . . you stepped off the curb and got hit by a bus.” It was like a bucket of ice water being dumped over my head. Whatever voodoo he was working broke right then, and I remembered instantly that I wanted this man to die by a thousand papercuts—preferable by my hand.

Another fantastic spin off to Jessica Prince's wonderful small town worlds she has created, the Whitecap series is the first, but many of the characters are connected to the Hope Valley series.

Crossing the Line follows Sawyer whose real name is Cheyanne, she has been in hiding and on the run for years. Leaving behind an abusive controlling husband to keep her daughter safe. She only dreams that one day she wont have to hide anymore and maybe be reunited with her long lost twin sister. She is safe is the small town Whitecap where everyone knows everyone, so when an attractive man named Trent comes into town and get the whole town abuzz with excitement, Cheyanne, who never wanted to open herself up to someone again cant seem to stay away from Trent. But both have secrets and secrets that may effect them both harshly in the end.

Cheyanne was a heartbreaking characters, she is a fantastic mother, but is always on the edge of wondering if she and her daughter will be found. I felt for her, the constant unknown as well as never knowing what happened to her twin sister after they were separated. What I love most about Prince's series is that they all connect, you don't need to read other series to know what's going on, but if you have read them, its like coming home. Cheyanne is connected to a Hope Valley resident, if you read the series, you would get a little more background on how this all started. Cheyanne has surrounded herself with a bunch of wonderful side characters, which make this series that much more special. Luna was my favorite, she was hilarious and I think needs to find that partner that give her a little surprise.

Trent is like many of Prince's male leads, he's not looking for that special someone but can't help it when it comes to someone like Cheyanne and her adorable daughter Renee, he's a goner. He has a lot of secrets from her and his friends, but he wants to do whatever it takes to protect these two innocent girls from a very dangerous man.

In the end I loved the new small town, the colorful characters and bringing in some of the gang from the other series. There is some suspense and lot's of humor, especially with Luna. Another great addition to the small town romance genre.

REVIEW:

Another great story held in the small town of Hope Valley, this is a spinoff series that follows a character from the prior one. Readers don't need to read the prior book that introduced this character, but I would add, the reader would get a better idea of what this lead character went through.

Bombshell follows Marin, she is finally getting back on her feet and feeling free from her abusive ex, thanks to her friend and co-worker. She lives the simple but single life, she decides to get a handle on learning to cook since she is a hot mess in the kitchen. But when she see her ex's brother in the same class, the man who has always been cold to her, but still makes her heart beat faster, her world of single and simple takes a turn. Pierce is a loving father but a workaholics, the one woman who makes him feel again suddenly shows back up and may be able to rescue this dad and his cold heart.

Marin is as sweet as can be, a loving sister and a heck of a dancer. I adored her character and really wanted her to find some happiness after her last relationship. Pierce is all about work and his son, but he feels hes losing his grip with raising his kid, that maybe hes not doing enough. Marin steps in a brings some life back into his household.

Overall this had all the steamy romance of Prince's other series. Bringing back past characters and all the humor mixed in. I was a bit bummed that there was no real suspense as the past stories, this was more focused on these two characters finding their new beginnings. I can't wait to see who next in the group of girls.
