{Release Blitz+ Review} The Bluff by Willa Nash

The Bluff by Willa Nash
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
THEME: Fake Marriage

BLURB:

As Calamity's newest resident, Everly Christian thought life in small-town Montana would be dull and tame--and she needs a little mundane after the last few chaotic years. But one night, boredom drives her to the local bar, where she finds herself sitting beside a handsome and mysterious artist.

The man is anything but dull and tame, especially in the bedroom, and when she steps out of his shower and overhears his conversation, life gets interesting again.

Reese Huxley needs a wife.

And why shouldn't Everly be the bride?

>She's got her reasons for agreeing to the hasty nuptials--reasons she's keeping to herself. As long as she can stop herself from falling in love with her husband, she'll make it out of this sham marriage in one piece. But Everly has a weakness for wayward men, and the more Hux pushes her away, the more she realizes this bluff is anything but a lie.

REVIEW:

I really enjoyed the first book in the Calamity Montana series, but I LOVED! The second installment The Bluff. My goodness Hux stole my heart and Everly is a fantastic, down to earth, truthful woman who just needs to find something good. Willa Nash aka Devney Perry rocked this book and the romance was kicked up ten notches in this one, boy was I fanning myself with Hux and his alpha maleness.

The Bluff follow Everly as she navigates her new life in Calamity after the insane stalker caused her and her best friend so much fear and made her change her path in life. She's looking for whats next but unsure where and what that is, her signing was just a job and now shes in limbo, that is until she meets Hux aka Reese Huxley. He changes everything for her, their steamy encounter and connection just keeps on going, even though both don't want attachments. But when Hux needs a life change for his daughter and wanting to giver her a life she needs away from her toxic mother, Ev gives him the one thing he never wanted, a wife.

I loved this story so much, Ev totally won me over with her personality. She wanted to do some good, she needs something and didnt know what it was until Hux gave her that, her family was always distant and she something in Hux and his daughter that she wanted to help with. I felt so much for her, she was getting the short end of the stick with everyone kind of giving her the cold shoulder not knowing her true intensions were good. She took the brunt of everything for Hux and it really showed how awesome this woman is.

Hux was a totally a moody alpha male, the whole town thought bad of him because of his past and he just kept his quiet distance. He is successful running his gallery, but he wants to give his daughter a good life, he just need to chance and his past kept blocking him. Ev gives him that stretch and with the smoking hot connection, he's starting to come out of his shell. He has a lot of issues with trust and opening up, but when he does, its all for his daughter and now Ev.

Overall this story through me into a whirlwind of emotions and I loved every minute. There is a lot of suspense and lot of learning for both leads and they try to navigate their new life. This could be read as a stand alone but the reader wouldn't understand the insane backstory on why Everly is in Calamity.
