BLURB:

Katherine Gates has been in love with Cash Greer since the moment he saved her life from a runaway goat. According to Cash, she’s the little sister he never had, the greatest roommate in the world and his favorite coworker. They’re friends—best friends.

In the dark days of her youth, it was her friendships that kept her alive and made life in a junkyard worth living. So she’s learned to shove her feelings for Cash down deep, even if that means ignoring eyes that shine brighter than the Montana summer sun and the smile that illuminates the snowiest winter day.

Except with every passing year, the denial takes its toll on her wounded heart until one day Katherine decides to take an impulsive road trip to the Oregon coast. Alone. That is, until Cash cons his way into the passenger seat.

The farther they travel, the harder it is to pretend. And when she confesses her feelings, she learns that Cash has some secrets of his own. Secrets that will either bond them together.

Or rip them apart.

REVIEW:

I was super excited for this one because after reading the last book I loved Cash and Kat. Kat being the sweet, hard worker "sisterly type" to the Greer family that was introduced in the last book, her heart has always been towards Cash but he's always treated her has the bff and nothing more. I so wanted these two to find their HEA.

Quarter Miles follows Kat on her adventure aka much needed vacation to take her friend Cadillac to its next destination, one day it will get to California and to the groups friend Karson. Kat's heart is broken, she needs space between her and her bff Cash who doesnt know shes in love with him. She decided to visit her friend Aria, whom she hopes with the the car to its next location. But her plans change when Cash decides he wont let her go alone and tags along. Thus making her heart and vacation go up in flames.

I loved this story because it really brought more light to how all these friends who grew up in a junk yard. Kat had a horrible upbringing like the rest but in the end she found a family she loved, a family that took her in and one she found happiness. I really wanted her to open up to Cash, for him to see that deep down she loved him. This is definitely a story of the guy being absolutely blind while everyone else knew that Kat was in love with him. I wanted to shake Cash half the book. Like really guy? This girl totally loves yo, you have the perfect girl and have had her for forever.

There are a lot of bumps in the road for these two. Lots of angst, tension and the possibility of them losing their friendship that was always so strong. I was gripping my kindle with each page, hoping these two could pull through.

Aria is the next friend to go on the adventure with the car, she is going to visit her sister and deal with her sisters much hated boss. I can just feel the tension already!! I'm super excited about her adventure and she's just as lovely has the rest of the ladies that have been introduced, super sweet and passionate about what she loves. Overall this was my favorite book in the series, I loved the first two but this one was the icing on the cake so far.
