BLURB:
Scarlett is stubborn and infuriating. She has no respect for the order in his structured life, and she never does anything she's told. Worse, she doesn't seem to care that the information she has on a motorcycle gang means she might end up dead. But her unwavering strength, her courage and tenacity and beauty, makes it impossible for him to abandon her.
If Luke is going to keep her safe, he'll have to make the hardest decision of his life. He can either honor his values as a cop, knowing Scarlett is unlikely to survive . . . or he can break all the rules and protect the woman who's invaded his home and his heart.
REVIEW:
Nobel Prince is the 4th book in the Tin Gypsy series by Devney Perry. It has been a bumpy road for all the couples in this series and this one is another step close to have a normal life for everyone. This story picks up right where book 3 left off, Scarlett, sister of Presley in the last book, is now under protective custody. Luke the small towns local sheriff is doing his best to keep her safe from the dangerous Warriors MC. With Scarletts past haunting her, the MC sniffing around town and now the FBI looking for her, Luke has his hands full and even more so since sparks are flying between them.I always enjoy stepping back into this series, Devney always does a fantastic job of connecting all her couples lives with everyone in the past books. Its a tight knit family. The romance is always smoking hot, passionate and you can feel the heat coming of the pages. This series is a little darker and gritter that the others, in the sense the life in the dangerous MC that is the villain of this series is scary and extremely rough. The readers get further into that world.
Luke is my favorite of the male leads, he has a lot on his shoulders through the series, not only with his involvement with Scarletts sister, but now with Scarlett turning his whole world upside down. He is sweet, strong and protective in every way. He's the good ol'boy and I wanted him to have a HEA.
Scarlett has been through hell her whole life, her family and abuse that she went through and witness has scarred her. Then her awful boyfriend put her in the radar for the club after what he put her and her sister through. I wanted some happiness for her and loved that Devney put her with Luke.
Overall this story will have you on the edge of your seat, I never knew what was coming around the corner and who would be stuck in the crossfire. We do get the next couple set in place near the end and I'm super excited to see Leo and Cass have their go at a possible happy ending.

Excerpt
“If you’re not going to get out of the way, I’ll just go around.” I spun on my shoes, whirling the opposite direction, but when I went to take a step and carry my basket away, I suddenly found its weight missing from my arm. He’d stolen it from me before I’d had the chance to clutch it tight.
Then the world was spinning. The floors, the ceiling, everything flipped topsy-turvy.
I’d fainted.
No, that wasn’t right.
I was being carried. Hauled. That had been Luke’s threat and damn it, I’d underestimated him. The chief had made good on his word.
His shoulder dug into my belly as he walked. I lifted my face, pushing the hair out of my eyes. My basket of food sat exactly where I’d been standing. My chicken and rolls and cookies and chocolate milk. The items grew smaller with every one of Luke’s strides.
“Put me down.”
He kept walking.
“Put me down!” I shouted.
Still, he kept walking.
I lifted a hand and raised it above my head. My hair kept falling in front of my face, obscuring my vision, but that didn’t stop me from using every ounce of strength I had left. I brought my fist down on Luke’s lower back. Except my aim was shit so I didn’t hit his back. No, my fist bounced off his firm, perfect ass.
Luke didn’t so much as break his stride. “I promised Presley I’d keep you safe.”
And without another word, without stopping, he carried me in a fireman’s hold out of the grocery store and into the snow.
I was going back to the daisies, whether I wanted to or not.
Hello, Scarlett. I’m rock bottom.
