Celia Wird and her three sisters are just like other twenty-something girls—with one tiny exception: They're the products of a curse that backfired and gave each of them unique powers that make them, well, a little weird…
The Wird sisters are content to avoid the local vampires, werebeasts, and witches of the Lake Tahoe region—until one of them blows up a vampire in self-defense. Everyone knows vampires aren't aggressive, and killing one is punishable by death. But soon more bloodlust-fueled attacks occur, and the community wonders if the vampires of Tahoe are plague-ridden.
Celia reluctantly agrees to help Misha, the handsome leader of an infected vampire family. But Aric, the head of the werewolf pack determined to destroy Misha's family to keep the area safe, warns Celia to stay out of the fight. Caught between two hot alphas, Celia must find a way to please everyone, save everyone, and—oh, yeah—not lose her heart to the wrong guy or die a miserable death. Because now that the evil behind the plague knows who Celia is, he's coming for her and her sisters.
This Wird girl has never had it so tough.

REVIEW:
I’m always looking for the next Urban Fantasy series to read and really was glad to discover the Weird Girls series by Cecy Robson. It has everything I love about UF series, with a ton of action, a mix of supernatural’s, romance and a suspenseful plot.Sealed with a Curse follows Celia and her three sisters Taran, Shayna and Emme. Each sister has been cursed and has a different supernatural ability. For Celia she has an inner beat within her as well as being able to shift in other animals. After one incident, which they were innocent on, they are sucked into the supernatural world that they have tried to stay away from. But getting mixed up with the master vampire and having to stop some crazy bloodlust vampires is just the beginning for these sisters and makes for one interesting welcome to their new world.
Celia is definitely the kick butt sister, though each can hold their own, she is the one who jumps in head first into a fight. This book is told from her point of view, which is hilarious because her shifting at random into some animal she runs into, causes quite the reaction with people. My favorite part about her and the sisters is how devoted they are on protecting each other, the older of the two being more the head of the household. Celia gets sucked into a very big problem and ends up helping the master of the city Misha, whom is very attracted to her. Thankfully she’s not that in to him, but their banter is what made this story great. Then there is Aric the alpha of the pack in her city, which is every bit sexy and is like a magnet to Celia. I loved their chemistry and was always so upset when they got interrupted. Overall Celia steals the show, she may be the older sister and strong but she has her innocent side that makes her a likable and easy to connect too.
The sisters were a riot. Taran is every bit of a troublemaker, the sister with the foul mouth and good looks. She had one heck of a spark and her ability to control fire makes her very dangerous to vampires. Shayna, just cracks me up with her surfer attitude and always calling everyone dude. She becomes really close with a pack member named Koda whom is normally the guy everyone afraid of because he’s all muscle. But they form a great relationship and I adore them together. Plus this girl can wield some insanely dangerous weapons. Then there is the sweet and shy Emme, the youngest and most protected out of the four. She is the healer of the family and has telekenetic abilities. The readers get to know each sister well enough to love them all and with such different personas I feel every reader will have the chance to connect to one of them.
Overall the story has a lot of mystery and action surrounding the sisters as they try to keep the innocent safe from bloodlust vampires. With the help of the local pack and the master vampire they make one giant power team. But of course vampire and werewolves don’t get along to well, and putting the sisters in the middle of a feud. But it’s Celia who has to deal with the attraction of both Misha and Aric, whom both have quite the jealous tempers. In the end I enjoyed the variety of supernatural characters, I was never bored and laughed at multiple scenes. I do wish the back and fourth with Aric and Celia wasn’t dragged on as long as it was, but the readers always need some tension. This story has it all and if you’re looking for a book with all the paranormal goodies and romance, this is one for you.
RECOMMENDATION:
This is a paranormal romance that has some spicy scene and humor that anyone would enjoy. Fans of Molly Harpers Naked Werewolf series and Lynsay Sands Argeneau series will love Sealed with a Curse by Cecy Robson.View all my reviews
