Today I would like to welcome author Taryn Browning who is here to talk about who she would like to play her characters in Dark Beauty!Dark Beauty Description: For fifteen-year-old Seeker, Isabelle Crowe, ridding the Houston streets of the undead is an inherited duty, passed down from her Cherokee ancestors. During her first night without her mentor, she encounters Abram, a more experienced Seeker from Chicago looking to avenge his cousin's death. Isabelle quickly learns she must work with Abram to protect her city. With one Seeker already dead, Isabelle's love of the hunt becomes a fight to survive.
Post: Dark Beauty is the prequel short story to my Dark Seeker novel. Many of the characters are found in both books. If Dark Beauty was made into a movie, these are the actors I’d choose to play the characters…
Isabelle (Seeker assigned to Houston): Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa shares Isabelle’s dark Cherokee features with her tanned skin, brown eyes, almost-black, straight hair and striking features. Also, Isabelle is tiny, but tough. Vanessa is a small girl, but despite her petite size she seems as if she can hold her own.
Abram (Fourth-year Seeker): Robbie Amell
As soon as I saw Robbie I thought of Abram. The only difference is that Abram has beautiful blue eyes, but that’s what contacts are for. His hair and build are perfect. Even the cocky smirk matches Abram’s personality.
Jared (Isabelle’s mentor and former Seeker):
Jared’s had years of experience and developed quite a serious nature. He likes to wear logo tees and jeans. I think Eric Dane would make a great Jared – and he could probably kick some butt!
The “Gorgeous” Daychild: Grey Damon
With a touch more blonde and white highlights, Grey would make a fantastic “Mr. Gorgeous.” He’s HOT!!!! “Mr. Gorgeous” only makes a brief appearance at the end ofDark Beauty , but plays a major role in Dark Seeker. Get used to seeing him around…a lot.
