QUICK THOUGHTS:
All Katherine wants to do is get away from her horrible outlaw husband, After a horrible incident where her husband murdered a man, Kate promises the victim before he died to find his family and deliver a letter. But it isn’t easy getting away from her husband and ends up taking the place of a mail order bride to escape him. After escaping another incident once again she ends up becoming a housekeeper for Sherriff Conner Langston to be kept out of jail. She has to pretend to be another woman and make sure she doesn’t fall for the sheriff. With her outlaw husband still on the loose and looking for her, he life becomes that much more complicated when she finds out Conner is looking for him.

REVIEW:
Kate is married to a man she despises, after he murdered a man in cold blood, she got away from him as soon as possible. The dying words of the man her husband killed were for her to deliver a letter to his family. So Kate gets put in a whirlwind journey of pretending to be a mail order bride for a horrible disgusting man whom she fights and wont marry. Which has her sent to jail if she doesn’t pay the fee of her train ride, from the man who owns the mail order bride service. She ends up being offered reluctantly by the Sherriff, to be his housekeeper and help with taking care of his niece. The attraction towards each other is difficult for them to resist but Kate is afraid that her identity will be found out and her husband will show up, so she’ll do anything to make money and get out town.I really enjoyed this story; Kate is a spunky woman, who really is trying to fit in this town without being found out that she is the wife of an outlaw. She connects with Sherriff Conner’s niece, which for Conner is not a good thing, thinking that this woman could leave anytime, breaking the little girls heart.

Kate and Conner’s relationship is a fun ride, he’s not sure about her and is very interested in why her story doesn’t fit with the one she supposedly told the mail order bride owner. Nothing seems to go right with her, but he can’t resist her charm and how much she cares for his niece. I liked how they were always nervous or were bickering. Their relationship is like many romance books but I just loved the plot and having to deal wither outlaw past.Overall a fun read and very enjoyable storyline that really keeps you hooked into the book. I read this all in one day because I just loved the characters and had to find out what was going to happen. I recommend this book to anyone who loves historical romances or any kind of romance novels.

RECOMMENDATION:
This is an adult romance novel with some sexual content and a bit of violence. I would highly recommend fans of Lynsay Sands , Lisa Kleypas, and Eloisa James.

Thank goodness for a totally different paranormal story! So original and fun! I liked that it had a load of investigating and humor to pull the reader along the sotry. Charley is THE grim reaper, chosen at birth to help those who die pass over to the light. But she also helps solve cases to those who are murdered because she is also a PI. With a spunky assistant named cookie, an uncle and father who are connected to law enforcement and a mysterious entity that is from her past Charley has a lot to work with. Little does she know that the mysterious being following her is a man who gives her all the thrills and chills just by calling her Dutch.. Reyes is such an interesting character I cant wait to know more about him and his connecting to Charley.
