REVIEW:

As a nerd myself I was excited to dig into this quirky fun and steamy story, the whole gaming side was so much fun and I'm a big gamer so it spoke to me.

The Nanny and the Nerd follows two very opposite people, Rowen and Penny, who are thrust into each others world by a "fairy godmotherish" match maker for Nannies. Rowen a billionaire techy is in need of a nanny for his niece Phoebe, who has lost her parents, his mother was formally taking care of her but had a stroke and now its all on his shoulders. But Rowen is a socially awkward, lack any knowledge of kids and a workaholic. In comes Penny, a writer who is down in her luck on jobs, stuck with writers block and lack any good knowledge of tech, but she gets Phoebe and the two girls bond instantly. But what's even better is that Penny sparks something that Rowen needs besides a Nanny, someone who will save his new game and possibly open up his heart.

Overall this was a fun story, I was laughing and cringing at the humor and absolute awkwardness that these two get into. Half the time I was shaking my head, the stuff that comes out of these two mouths is utter chaos. But I loved it. There is so much fun, Penny and Rowen bring some new perspectives into each others closed bubbled life that they needed. All the secondary characters were fun and added some twist and drama to an overall light hearted story. Looking forward to reading more from this author, I am hoping that some of Rowen's guy "friends" are coming back with their own stories.
