BLURB:

All of a sudden Charlotte is surrounded by whispers and looks of pity. It's mortifying. She needs a fresh start and fast.

 Enter Ollie.

Ollie is her brother's best friend and her saving grace. He's in the middle of renovating his grandparents' beach house into a B&B in North Carolina and offers her a place to stay and lay low. With over 3000 miles between her and her ex,

Charlotte feels she can let go and be herself again. But the trouble with social media is that once something is out there, it never truly goes away.

When her problems follow her to paradise, will she have the strength to stay, or will she run again

REVIEW:

My first book by author Sophie Blue and now I'm on to looking at her past book list. This was a wonderful introduction to Blue's writing, the was a sweet heartfelt romance story.

The Best Friends Sister follows Charlotte who needs a breather from her life at home. She just had the worst and most public break-up due to the fact her boyfriend just proposed life on social media for everyone to see, but not to her. She goes to North Carolina to help her brothers best friend Ollie getting his new B&B up and running. Charlotte nor Ollie are prepared for the bond that grows as they both heal from broken hearts and bringing to life the B&B that brought them together.

This was a quick and sweet read novella, the characters have had horrible relationships, both still healing from them. Working on the B&B they bond, painting, cooking and just being each others company without the past constantly thrown in their faces. The romance is steamy and I love how they grew as friends first. The is drama but overall this was a great quick romance.
