BLURB:

New York Times bestselling author Meghan March continues the Legend Trilogy.

Gabriel Legend is unlike any other man I’ve ever met.

He came into my life like a hurricane, shattering all my assumptions and preconceived notions.

I wasn’t prepared for him. I wasn’t prepared for any of it.

But life doesn’t wait until you’re ready.

Whatever happens next, I know one thing for certain.

I will never be the same Scarlett I was before I met him.

House of Scarlett is the second book in the Legend Trilogy and should be read after The Fall of Legend, book one.

REVIEW:

Meghan March how you wound me! LOL, it's okay, I think I can survive this cliffhanger knowing that the next book is the last and I know that my guy Legend is going to go more alpha and figure something out. I swear Legend and his ladybug aka Scarlett have become one of my new favorites in all of March's fantastic books, which is hard but I love their emotional journey and the heartbreaking background of their families have really brought so much growth in who they are today.

House of Scarlett follows Scarlett, who is trying to recover from the blow that Legend dealt her when he gave her the best moment with him and then stripped it all away suddenly. Now its their journey into figuring out what each other them really needs and wants, complications of their different lives will and a lot of downs, but these two are determined to find more ups and fight the negativity of their relationship that the snobby world sees in them.

I seriously loved these characters, Scarlett is tough, she deals with her past horrible relationship, her awful and absent father and the idea of her mother not being who she thought she was. She tries to separate herself, to better herself and to become someone who can be seen from both sides of the tracks in a positive light. She doesn't care what the world thinks of her being with a man like Legend and I love that he's all for that and then some.

Legend, be still my heart, he has come from rock bottom and does anything and everything for those he loves. He has enemies coming from multiple directions and doesn't want the past to repeat itself. I'm really pulling for some happiness for him, he deserves it and needs it. The people around him feel the same too.

Also more insight into the secondary character is always something March does really well. I love all of Scarletts BFFs and Legends crew, I really hope we get some more spinoffs from their sides. In the end I don't want to give anything away but the readers are dealt with a big cliffhanger, one I have been anticipating but was hoping would never come. I'm so ready for the third and final book!
