REVIEW:
This was my first time reading a book by Melissa Foster, it certainly won't be my last. I really enjoyed meeting the Whiskey family, Fosters writing is fun, dynamic and of course the romance is smoking hot. What I also liked was even though this book was in the middle of the series, I was able to easily understand and connect with everyone and didn't feel lost. however I now want to read about the prior couple's now that I know them.Driving Whiskey Wild follows Finlay, a sweet as a candy blonde, who is sassy and completely clueless about anything biker related. Her innocence and how she looks like an angel makes it an interesting dynamic with Bullet since he's the polar opposite of her. Finlay and Bullet meet and a wedding where Finlay was the caterer, Bullet of course has his eyes set on her, but she doesn't take to his bluntness. But when Finlay is asked to help with the Whiskeys family owned bar to expand it, she and Bullet have to work together to get the job done. There is a ton of sparks between the two but both are fighting past issues and how much they differ.
I adored Finlay. She was so clueless to the rough and gruff biker family but she also fit in so well with how loving they all are. She also is able to match Bullets aka Brandon's possessive nature with her own spunk. She has a tough past with a lost love and hasn't really been looking for someone to take that place in her heart. Bullet is a surprise she wasn't prepared for.
Bullet is the son of the local biker clubs president as well as part owner to the Whiskey Bros bar. Dealing with his over bearing but loving family and this cute and sweet blonde Finlay has put him in a new setting he's not use too. He hasn't opened up about his time in the military to his family but feels that trust in her. He has a lot of pressure and pain from the past that hopefully she can help free him of.
Overall I really enjoyed this introduction to Fosters writing and the world she s created. Plus she knows how to write romance, the pages were on fire when Bullet and Finlay were together. I can't wait to read more especially with this entertaining Whiskey family.
