BLURB:
This is one mistake Sienna Landry can’t buy her way out of.

As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she’s in trouble. It’s not the busted headlight and dented grill that’s sunk her though. It’s the downright sinful man in front of her that’s the problem.

The small town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline and Sienna isn’t sure why that’s so sexy, but it is. It so is. She’s ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.

He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as he presses her against the wall of the shop. It’s thinly veiled in his deep, brown eyes when he looks at her like she’s everything he’s ever wanted. So why won’t he give in?

The damage to Walker’s truck is the first of many mistakes between the two of them, ending with truths that rock Sienna’s world. Nothing can fix her broken heart except the love of a man that won’t, maybe even can’t, love her back.

REVIEW:
I didn’t think anything could top Adriana Locke’s Landry series, I loved the family dynamic and humor, but as always Locke knows how to write fantastic character mixed with drama and good old family bonding.

Crank follows Sienna Landry, the youngest and most care free of the Landry children. She has ended up in a small town with her friend and fellow business partner. But after one night of acting like her former baseball star brother, she accidentally damages a local truck. Sienna comes face to face with some of the Gibson family, but she catches the eye of Walker Gibson, whom trucks she’s damaged. Sienna out of guilt slowly makes her way into helping repay Walker at his auto shop, which ensues into an attraction and whirlwind of ups and downs.

Sienna was always interesting to me because she was so opposite of any of her family members. Meaning she was always off on her next adventure of career goal, she couldn’t settle but was still close to her brothers and twin sister. As they all found their other halves, she was still looking for herself. I loved seeing her come into her own and loved, loved that Locke added her family into the mix to help guide her in the right direction. She is a little bit of a mess and can’t seem to grasp this connection she has with Walker. She always bonds with his cousin and brothers who remind me a lot of her chaos brother back home.

Walker is a broody and hard working man, who is not really prepared for Sienna when she comes barreling into his life, pretty much messing everything up he was use to. But his tough demeanor and standoffish persona are slowly getting beat by the connection he feels with Sienna. He’s a bit off a mess too, and for a very good reason. But he has his support team consisting of his brothers, cousin, and Nana who whip him into shape.

Overall I loved this new introduction to another family, the Landry side now being complete I can’t wait to see what happens to the Gibson family. The writing, the smoking hot romance, humor and family unity is so much fun, I loved every minute of it. And if your worries about not reading the Landry series and being lost, don’t worry it can be read as a total stand-alone.
