Being the son of Aphrodite isn’t a walk in the clouds. Rebelling against his demi-god status, billionaire make-up mogul Toraos Stephanos fights to separate his personal life and the immortal world by swearing off demi-god girlfriends forever. Too bad his newest employee can't take the hint.

Though Nikki secretly pines for her smoking hot boss, no way will she jeopardize her job and independence professing her love to a guy so clearly out of her league. Too bad that leaves her with only imagining him naked and thinking evil thoughts about the new girl.

After a single bottle of Ambrosia and one night of passion... Nikki finally thinks she has a chance with the man of her dreams. But the next morning, Tor pretends like nothing happened, leaving Nikki with an emerging drive for combat—after all, turns out she is the daughter of Ares and she's about to make her mama proud.
All is fair in love and war... and Nikki's not about to let anyone forget it.

REVIEW:

I’m becoming such a fan of Brux’s stories, I had a blast reading this humorous romance mythology and Brux always knows how to make great steamy scenes. I didn’t except this to be as funny as it was but I was laughing from beginning to end.

Suddenly Beautiful follows Nikki who is the assistant to the CEO of one of the top cosmetic companies. The CEO, Tor can’t think of what he’d do without Nikki helping him with his daily workaholic life. But what Nikki doesn’t know is her boss is anything but just a hard working CEO he’s also a demi-god and so is she. There lives get a bit more complicated when their parents start to meddle and make things a bit more hectic.

Nikki is the one person who keeps Tor’s life together and is the only woman who doesn’t want to jump him. What he doesn’t know if that she’s had a crush on him for a long time, but keeps her feelings locked down and remains professional. I liked this girl; she is very proper and hard working and really enjoys her job. She gets put in some sticky situations, colleague competition and irresistible chemistry between Tor and her. But that’s only the beginning when she finds out she’s a demi-god and which god she’s connected too. Ares is her father and one hilarious fella, the moments between them were laugh out loud.

Tor is always working and running the business for his mother who is none other than the goddess Aphrodite. I loved the mother and son banter, she always knew what to say to push her sons buttons. Even though the chemistry between Nikki and Tor was a quick turn around, I loved the challenge they add to each other’s lives. There is jealously that adds to some smoking hot moments for the duo, plus another demi-goddess who enjoy making Nikki’s life miserable.

Overall this was so much fun to read, even though it was focused on the romance, I loved the secondary characters and mythology that carried a solid plot. There is never a dull moment. I felt it was great to get the POV from both Nikki and Tor so that the readers get feel their reactions to some intense and interesting moments. In the end if you’re looking for smoking hot romance, humor, memorable character, and great mythology look no further than Suddenly Beautiful.
