Musing Mondays hosted by Should be Reading.
How far along are you in your current read before you start thinking about what you'll read next?
For me I have a check list of what I'm reviewing for the month, I know what needs to be read and I usually pick a date or goal to finish each book by. Sometimes I'll fit a book into my list that is a "fav read" which means its a book a can read anytime and I'm in no hurry to review it. I try to read what I want to read at least twice a month without an obligation, I have my series that I can't live without and will have those on my shelf waiting and calling my name.
What about you? When do you start thinking about what to read next?
I actually wait until I finish what I'm currently reading. The great thing about books is that you never know how they will end. Depending on how I feel when I finish, I might want to read a different genre or lighter/heavier read when I'm done.
ReplyDeleteThis year I'm doing a word file with all the months written down and books added to each one. I'm doing 2 reading challenges and I participate in 2 book clubs that are by month, so each month has at least 4 books to read. :)
ReplyDeleteI did really well in January. I read 8 books, which is way more than I've read in a long time!
