Genre: YA Paranormal Romance
Unsure if she's drowning or being saved, all
Marlow wants to do is run away. Ensnared in a haunting love triangle, she
realizes both boys have holes in their hearts—scars from loving the same girl,
a girl who managed to stay dead. Now she is being hunted for what she has
become and what she never asked to be. Even as a Skeleton Marlow isn’t the
worst thing in the night—she isn’t even close.
What if dying was only the beginning of the story, instead
of the end? In Angela Kulig’s “Skeleton Lake,” Marlow is split between two boys
who are still in love with someone who died. But this isn’t your ordinary love
triangle, and Marlow isn’t an ordinary girl.
The creatures in this book are totally different from
anything you’ve seen before in the paranormal genre. You won’t find vampires or
werewolves here, but instead, something completely new and different: living
skeletons, both beautiful and dark. The author brings them to life with
gorgeous writing that keeps you turning the page until you’ve devoured every
last drop of the story. You have to read it to believe it.
A refreshing take on paranormal romance with a strong,
compelling voice, Angela Kulig’s debut novel is a must-read you cannot miss.
“Skeleton Lake” is available after October 21st from Red Iris Books.

This book captures you with the first sentence. Artfully written, Skeleton Lake, is a fresh take on a crowed young adult market. I'm enjoying it immensly and can't wait to finish it. I don't need to finish it though to say how much I enjoy it so far and I would suggest it to anyone right now.
