Q. What do I do when I'm not reading?

A.  I'm either blogging lol, writing, watching movies with my friends and husband, riding around on my husbands motorcycles, designing book covers and well lots more. I like to keep myself busy :) Whose seeing Harry Potter this weekend? I am!!!




Question of the week: Crazy-For-Books

Q. How and where do you get your books? Do you buy them or go to the library?


A.  I usually by my books from Amazon, Barnes and Noble or my old company that I worked for Borders. I don't like library books because I like to be the only on to handle my books and I like to keep them for forever. I've also gotten a couple of books from smashwords. I;m hoping to get some ARCs next week at comic con!

    As much as I love libraries I tend to eat while I read and have on occasion spilled, and then punish myself like Dobby. Because of this misdemeanor I completely understand you wanting the only one to handle your books. Have a great weekend!

    I'll be watching HP soon so let's rave about the special effects and actors after watching it. I borrow books from the library too, but mostly I have to buy from the bookshop.

    Couldn't agree more on the library books - I'll borrow something if I absolutely can't find it elsewhere, but I like to own my books, to see them on a shelf, and to know there's no pressure to race through them in 2 weeks. Keep reading, and have a fabulous weekend! :)

    I am addicted to libraries, but I always want to keep books that I love so I only use them to get books that I don't think I will like. When I end up liking a book, I am really angry and check the book out a thousand times until I buy it. I love your blog's look by the way! New Follower!

    I’m seeing a pattern of book acquisition here. After all, there are just so many places to get books and so many different ways to read them.

    It’s hard to beat the library for price and selection but it’s even harder to beat the convenience of browsing BN or Amazon from a Nook or Kindle, hitting a button and reading the book you picked in about sixty seconds.

    I've actually never read any of the Harry Potter books or watched the movies before! There were some times when the older movies played on TV and I watched small snippets of scenes, but that's about it!
