Stacking the Shelves {9} Under the Gun, Shadows in the Silence & more

Stacking the Shelves is a new weekly book blogger meme hosted by Tynga of Tynga’s Reviews. Make sure you stop by her blog to check it out and see whats on everyone's shelves!

This week I got some great books that I cant wait to read and review! So much to read and so little time but these books are calling me to read them asap!

The First book I got this week was Under the Gun by Hannah Jayne. I love this series, even though the covers don't really match Sophie's character described in the book, I cant get enough of these books. Sophie is a girl surrounded by the supernatural and works for a Underworld Detective Agency. So awesome!

This Case is Gonna Kill Me by Phillipa Bornikova is describe as the Firm meets Anita Blake, as a big Anita fan I couldnt wait to get my hands on this new series about law in the supernatural world.

I was really excited to get a copy of Shadows in the Silence this final book in the Angelfire series. I can't wait to dig in but I'll be sad to see this series go.

Last but not least Black Lament by Christina Henry, the fourth book in the Black Wings series and after the last book cliffhanger and shocker I cant wait to see what Henry has in store for Maddy.

This week I got some great books that I cant wait to read and review! So much to read and so little time but these books are calling me to read them asap!

The First book I got this week was Gail Carriger's Etiquette & Espionage. First and foremost if you haven't read her Parasol Series then your missing out, from what I hear those characters may appear in this YA series as of course younger. I cant wait to dig into this one and step back into Carriger's wonderfully fun and proper world.

Poison by Bridget Zinn, this book sounded fantastic and from fellow readers they all agree. It sounds like a story out of the TV show Once Upon a Time. I was saddened to hear about the authors passing and am happy to read one of her works.

After finishing Anna Dressed in Blood I was happy to get another horror thriller, Ghost Key by Trish MacGregor.

Last but not least is Foretold by the always wonderful Jana Oliver. I read the first book in this series when it came out and was immediately addicted. I finished book 2 & 3 this week because I had gotten Foretold, thankfully after being left on a bit of a cliffhanger! This will be the final book in the series.

This week I got some great books that I cant wait to read and review! So much to read and so little time but these books are calling me to read them asap!

I'm a huge Rachel Caine fan and her new series Revivalist was really different from her Jinn series and vampire series. I enjoyed Working Stiff and Cant wait to try Two Weeks Notice.

Precinct 13 sounds fantastic! Kind of like a paranormal Warehouse 13, if you havent seen that show your missing out!

A Hundred Words for Hate didnt catch my eye right away but Im going to give it a try, a guy with extreme powers and who is an angel. Sounds like something I would like.

I haven't read the Nightshade series but I do own the books, so Im excited to read Rift first to get me amped and ready for Nightshade.

The Blessed looks and sounds interesting, even though the cover is kind of creepy I cant wait to dig into this book.

Black City, what more can I say? This book has rocked the posts around the blogs and all the early reviews and mentions are positive. This is a book that is a must read for me.

The Vindico is something I have had my eye on reading for a while and as a big superhero fan/comic nerd I felt its my duty to read this awesome sounds book.

Beta is another book I've been seeing around and had to get my hands on this one to see what the hype is about. It sounds different from what I've been reading so Im glad to get a chance to read this one early.
