BLURB:
Small-town girl. America’s Sweetheart.
The biggest popstar in the world
It began with one guy and then the next.
Until my reputation preceeded me.
Yes, I dated them - all of them.
Yes, I also broke up with them. All of them.
Was it too much? The world said yes. Too many, too quickly.
And my star began to flicker.
The world knew nothing about my life and yet, their judgement weighed on me like stone.
My reputation was falling faster than a shooting star and the only way to save it was with the boy who never wanted me.
Zach Parker was a singer, songwriter, and sexy as sin.
To him, I was just the neighbor’s little sister.
A pest that had grown into a famous annoyance.
Zach Parker wanted nothing to do with me.
But he could be tempted - with a stepping stone to fame, that is.
The plan was simple: Childhood Sweethearts Fall in Love on US Tour.
The plan was to let them see what they wanted to see: our ‘romance’ blossom right in front of their eyes.
A romance that Zach had made painfully clear to me years ago would never exist.
I’m told that it was the only thing that could repair my image.
So, every night I’ll stand on that stage and give Zach my heart piece by piece, note by note.
We’ll give them a show they’ll never forget - and a love story that I may not survive.
Because who cares that in order to put my reputation back together, I’ll have to tear my heart apart?

REVIEW:
I’ve been majorly binging on rock star books lately and I was super excited about my first book by Rebecca Shape being just that, but where I normally read about a male rock star its more focused on a female one. Rock on! Anywho I’m ashamed to say that I have waited this long to read a book by this fantastic author, but I’m so glad to be digging in now. This story will tear at the heartstrings, forbidden romance between brother’s bestie and his sister, a rock star girl constantly in the spotlight with her failed relationships, the turmoil of rejection from the one guy your heart belongs too, ugh I was a mess but in a good way. Blake's story is one that may sound family, there are lot of female artist in the world who are seriously misunderstood, who pour the heart out into their must or whatever art they are into. It’s easy to connect to Blake, who hasn’t crushed on a guy and been rejected? It’s all about growing up and making that heart stronger.
The story is nicely done, music is at the heart of course pulling in the reader with each song that really helps connect to Blakes emotions. I felt bad for Blake at the beginning and especially with all the past bits and pieces. Zach rejects her so many times its killer, I was kind of rooting for her to get over him because dang that guy. Luckily Zach totally will capture every reader and make you fan yourself with how sexy and sweet he is. The chemistry was amazing, they are so right for each other and I rooted for them to find their HEA.
My only issue was with Ash, but it’s a good issue. He is a bit of a mess, way too protective, over the top and for me I wouldn’t ever let my brother get away with some of the stuff he did. I would never forgive him, he pretty much made me angry every time he was causing another problem. But I feel like there is a side to his story that I’m hoping we will get in another book because this guy needs some sort of redemption because it feels wrong to dislike Blake's brother.
In the end this was a fantastic story to introduce me to a great author whom I’m looking forward to reading more of. The romance, the emotional roller coaster and the music is all wonderfully done to bring this great story together.
