This was a fantastic ending to a suspenseful, steamy and criminally good duet. I'm starting to really love these types of storylines, thank goodness I don't have to wait to long to get to the end. I loved watching the Romeo & Juliet story of John and Siena. It was beautifully crafted in a romantic but violent world of three two mafia families.
Disgrace picks up right where we left off in book two, I had no idea how this duo was going to move forward with what happened last book. The shocking death of a leader and John dealing with his personal health, I was expecting a lot of emotional ups and downs. And boy was I right and then some. Siena and John never really catch a break, Siena's brothers pick up after their father, her mother is a ruthless and heartless women whom just like her sons treat Siena harshly every chance they get. But crazy enough, her family enemy has taken her in, more like a spy but since she is John's her value is high. John comes back to an emotional pull from his family, he doesn't like what Siena is involved in and she is in constant danger, which triggers Johns temper and then some.
Their story concludes, but along the way they are dealt with some extremely shocking, emotional, scary moments. I wasn't sure who was going to survive and I had no idea the twist that occurred especially near the end, were going to happen. I was constantly on the edge of my seat and I wanted these two to have some sort of HEA. Overall I'm hoping to see if Kris dives back into this world, their are a ton of side characters that I'd like to get inside their heads, especially Andino and Haven, there is more to tell with that couple for sure.
