As a teen, Dawn Delgado ran from a life on the streets straight into the arms of Jimmy “Mad Dog” Sanchez, a biker who promised to be her knight in shining armor. But his love was just another cage. Ten years later, Dawn is determined to start over again—and be the kind of woman, and mother, she was meant to be. Could it be that Cade

“Ryder” O’Connor, a member of a rival club, is the answer to her prayers?
Will He Give Her the Ride of Her Life?
A loyal member of the Sinner’s Tribe, gritty outlaw Cade is another hard-living, hard-riding biker who’s willing to sacrifice everything that defines him—because that’s what losing the cut means. Dawn can’t deny the full-speed attraction that blazes between them, or the safety she feels in his leather-clad embrace. But will Cade’s love lead her down the road to her dreams? Or will she arrive at yet another dead end?

REVIEW:

Now this is how you right a second book in a series, the rough and tough motorcycle club is back and better than ever. I enjoyed the first one, but the plot and character development in Beyond the Cut won me over, especially when a tough man has a sweet spot for little girls.

Dawn was very different from Arianne’s character in the first book. Her main focus is her daughters; she has been dealt a hard blow (no pun intended) by dealing with her abusive husband and escaping him, only to loose her girls. Now she’s dealing with blackmail to get them back. Dawn wanted to be done with motorcycle clubs, but falls into bed with a rival club member named Cade. But Cade is different and I loved how he treated Dawn and her girls. Dawn goes through a lot of highs and lows, she is a tough woman who loves her girls and is trying her best to stay strong for them. The best parts were scene with Cade and her girls Tia and Maia, thy were so darn sweet that I could just picture this big tough guy protecting these cute girls.

Cade is a biker through and though, he’s a player and is known for having many woman in his bed. I’m not a fan of men, who sleep around like this, but I just keep think about SOA and I get it, that’s the world they live in. Cade and Dawn have some hot and heavy chemistry and it doesn’t hurt that Cade’s dirty talk makes it even hotter. Cade is the definition of alpha male, he’s sexy, dominant and protective of what’s his.

Overall I was so glad to step back into the Sinner Tribe again, the violence and nitty-gritty of the club life is still focused on too. I loved the character development this time around; Cade really makes the most change with his focus being solely on Dawn and her girls. Now I’m seriously pinning for Zane’s story, he’s been highlighted and I’m really intrigued to find out more about him!

  1. Great review, Kristen! I have never read an MC book but I love Sons of Anarchy so I can't see not enjoying a series like this! It sounds very character driven which sounds like a must! Glad the sequel is just as good as book 1! :)
