BLURB:

An epic tale of revenge and love in a new romantic trilogy from the New York Times best-selling author of The Beauty Series.

Bleu MacAllister is in hiding less than three months when Sinclair Breckenridge discovers her whereabouts. Her former lover, the future leader of a criminal organization known as The Fellowship, resists the tug of his heart heartstrings in her direction. Instead, he opts to watch over his beloved from afar. And she has no idea. But Sin's sacrifice is short-lived. His bonny lass is a hunted traitor. He fears Abram's assassins are closing in, leaving him with one solution for saving Bleu--make her his wife. Marriage seems an easy fix for their dilemma but wedded bliss is brief when the couple finds trouble lying in wait beyond the realm of the brotherhood. Will the original revenge seeker find herself the object of collateral damage?

REVIEW:

So I’m still kind of stuck in my book coma after finishing this, I absolutely loved the first book and wasn’t sure if anything could surpass it. Of course Georgia Cates, surpasses the first book with her addicting character driven romance and intense plot.

The Next Sin was non-stop intense and making me bite my nails from beginning to end. It leaves off a couple months after Bleu left Sin and Scotland. She and her sister are now taking care of her ill father, while she works as a PI. After a crazy drunken night out with the girls she ends up coming home to a big surprise. Sin is waiting for her and he has a proposal for her, that he hope she accepts. With the Fellowship putting a target on Bleu, and Sin risking going against them, they are in for a heap load of trouble.

Bleu’s life has taken a total 180 from when we first met her in book one. She has changed from a revenge driven person to love struck, but still tough as nails woman. Sin has changed everything for her and she makes a choice to move forward with him, even with the risk. Luckily her father gives her his blessing with Sin. Bleu and Sin marry, which is automatically adds danger for both of them as the Fellowship sees Bleu as a threat. Sin can only hope they the rules that apply to not touching a family member will hold.

Sin has also changed; he is still the alpha male tough guy that can kill very easily. But he also now has the love of his life and the possibility that he can actually have a family with her. I loved this guy in the first book, he is such a protector for his family and I love how much he adores Bleu.

In the end I knew something big was going to happen, too much was going smoothly. So the ending does have a cliffhanger, it’s a bit of a shocker and I’m kind of freaking out about what happened, thank goodness I only have a month until the next and final book comes out. Anyways the villainous Abram is of course on my hit list, he needs to be put in his place. But I also am hoping Sin kicks some major butt after the ending, as the Fellowship is using his wife and his future as punishment against him. Its going to be crazy for sure and I cant wait for Sin to get into action. This was definitely a little more emotionally driven for me, as the characters go through so much heartache, but they are so real, so easy to connect to that I felt along with them. I cant wait for the next book and can only hope these two find some happiness.

Excerpt Two: Sinclair’s POV

I’m in the background of Bleu’s life, as I have been for weeks. I have eyes on her at all times, even when they’re not my own. I safeguard her from harm. It’s all I’ve done since tracking my lass down in a small town in Mississippi, right outside of Memphis. I act as her protector from afar and she has no idea. She believes she’s hidden from The Fellowship—and me—but she couldn’t be more wrong. I’m always here, keeping a watchful eye on her and the MacAllister family.
I often need to be reminded that this is Bleu’s world. Every person she has contact with isn’t a threat but there’s an enormous problem with that. I have no idea who’s friend or foe.
I was concerned when Bleu disappeared at the bar with a man earlier tonight. I was on the verge of barging into the back until my lass came out on stage to perform with the band. I don’t think I’ve ever been so surprised in all my life. I knew she played but I never pegged her for a public performer. That doesn’t seem like my Bonny at all.
But I guess I don’t really know the real Bleu MacAllister. I only know the woman she pretended to be.
