My Teaser:

He watches as she wipes away a tear, feeling his own throat tighten, his jaw aches. He has to say something, do something to make her feel better.

He puts one hand on the door and is stepping into the kitchen when she turns. She gives him a sad smile before starting for the living room. He has no choice but to follow.
