Alice Shepard needs one thing: a date for her sister's wedding. And not just any date. A hunk who will make her fiancé rue the day he left her for her best friend. Her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor fits the bill—even if he is a bit quirky and never comes out during the day—and Alice has downed just enough appletinis to ask him. But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business.

Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding—a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time.

What could possibly go wrong?

This was my first book by Tiffany Allee and so glad I started her new series, lots of humor, romance and fantastic characters. This reminded me a lot of the movie with Debra Messing, the Wedding Date but with some vampire spice.

Don’t Bite the Bridesmaid follows Alice Shepard who is dreading going to her sisters wedding dateless and having to deal with her ex-fiancé who now has a new fiancé. Desperate times call for desperate measure and after the first disaster of asking Noah her neighbor to be her date she finally convinces him with the help of his friend Charles. Noah on the other hand is trying to get out of an arrange marriage; so it’s a win win for both. But Noah isn’t your average guy, he’s a vampire and this one on one time with the irresistibly clumsy Alice is going to be hard for him to not expose that side of himself.

Alex is hilarious when first introduced, needing some liquid courage to ask Noah to be her date end so very badly. But the readers see such an innocent sweet woman, who deserves to have a good guy by her side. What I enjoyed most was her close relationship and support she has with her sister, who knows about Noah being her neighbor. Alice and her sister also know a big secret, because of what happened to their brother. But things change and when Noah introduces himself as her boyfriend, which make this trip so much more entertaining. Noah and Alice have some fantastic and hot chemistry, Alice has always been attracted to him and her clumsy self creates some cute moments that show how much Noah has a soft spot for her. I loved how Noah enjoyed making her ex jealous and how Noah doesn’t mind exposing his vampire side slightly to gain the upper hand.

Alex at the beginning is a standoffish kind of guy, he is being put in a tough position of an arrange marriage. His fellow vampire friends Charles and Alex are trying to help him out of it, thankfully Alice saves them with the offer of a get away trip. Alex has always been attracted to Alice and when he meets her horrible ex Brent he starts to build a protectiveness towards her that heightens their chemistry. I love how he tries so hard to control his vampire instincts plus dealing with the effect the sun has on him, a vampire on a sunny cruise to Mexico, makes for some funny moments. The best moment was Alice catching Noah drinking out of a shampoo bottle, which contained blood. But of course she wasn’t sure what he was drinking. I was laughing so hard at her confusion. In the end Alexs’ persona changes the longer he’s around Alice and her learns that maybe he can find happiness with her.

Overall even though Noah and Alice are super strong main characters, I loved the secondary ones, which include most of Alice’s colorful family and her laugh out loud mother. I can’t wait for more of the Sons of Kane series, oh and the readers do get to meet the very dark a broody Kane. If your looking for lot’s of humor, romance and a great new vampire series this is one that you don’t want to miss.

This is a paranormal romance that has some spicy scene that are meant for a mature audience. Fans of Molly Harpers Naked Werewolf series and Lynsay Sands Argeneau series will love Don’t Bite the Bridesmaid by Tiffany Allee.
