Follow Friday Feature {52} What is the last book that made you cry?

FF 2012 Feature & Follow #98
Question this week from Parajunkee and Allison Can Read.
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Q. WHAT IS THE LAST BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY? TELL US ABOUT THE SCENE…
That would have to be Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. Overall this book is one big bundle of emotion, the characters are both so broken and trying to get over such terrible pasts that I really wanted the best for both. Every scene when the author explained more and more about their past it got me reallt teared up. One scene with Echo the lead female is trying to recall what happened in her past when her mother attacked her leaving her scarred, made me want to give the girl a hug. Plus her father is moving on with a younger woman and she is having such a hard time dealing with everything. I felt so much for her and when she meets Noah who frustrated her but gave her some strength I was happy. This was one of my favorite reads this year and seriously I can read it again and again. The characters, romance and heartbreaking story just really hooked me.

What about you?
