GENRE: Contemporary
THEME: Romance, New Adult

BLURB:
Their wishes were simple and modest. Fate had other things in store though, and she can be a real bitch sometimes.

- All he wanted was to get the job done and somehow to endure those long months playing nanny to a spoiled little rich girl. Without strangling her with his bare hands in the process. Well, it is going to be much easier said than done.

- All she wanted was to escape the past and live like any other nineteen-year-old girl. Her plan definitely didn’t include the arrogant, tattooed savage, with his awful mohawk hair and lack of social graces, whose only mission was to stick real close and mess up her life.

But, people aren't always what they seem to be, are they?

REVIEW:
I love stories that pair two opposites together and follow their journey through frustrations, differences and of course a spark that they didn’t expect. Zoya Tessi writes a romance new adult story with some surprising twists and dangerous criminal situations.

Perfect Opposite follows Sasha, a young college student who lives a secret life, well almost. Sasha’s dad is a man with many enemies, living a life of crime but keeping his daughter save is number one to him. So Sasha has to deal with an unhappy change of plans when her father assigns her a bodyguard and roommate. But Alex isn’t a suit and glasses type of bodyguard; no he’s piercing, tattooed and all alpha male. And it seems Sasha’s father was right to assign her a bodyguard because he seems to have an enemy that has now targeted her.

Sasha is a young and stubborn woman who all in all wants a normal life, but knows that her father is watching her every move. Now being put in a situation of having a “babysitter” she is not a happy camper. Alex annoys her with just his presence and he doesn’t let her out of his sight for even a second. Their banter is hilarious and I could really feel how these two could annoy and share some really awesome chemistry together. It was interesting seeing Sasha development from annoyed stubborn daughter, to truly understanding the danger she is living and is lucky to have Alex around.

Alex is a bit of a mystery, there is a underlining reason he is protecting Sasha and I couldn’t put my finger on it. I liked how much he got under Sasha skin, he protected her 24/7 but also didn’t take her attitude and tried to get her to understand that she could be in real danger. The chemistry is built up nicely, they get to develop and learn about one and other before seriously taking an interest. I adored how Alex was always there for Sasha no matter how much she frustrated him. Plus he has some secrets that seriously change the game.

Overall I liked the sweetness and humorous moments between Alex and Sasha, their relationship is what kept me hooked from beginning to end. There are a lot of secrets, mystery and crime drama action involved, it was exciting and interesting to see how everything was coming together. I will definitely be looking out for more novels by Tessi and hope to see more of Alex and Sasha in the future.

RECOMMENDATION:
This is a new adult romance story with some mature content. Fans of the Sea Breeze series by Abbi Glines and Wait for You by J. Lynn will love, Perfect Opposites by Zoya Tessi.
