Publication Date: January 21, 2014
Publisher: William Morrow Impulse
Description…
From USA Today bestselling author Lisa Desrochers, comes the third book in her sizzling New Adult series.
If you play with fire…
Tossed out of college and cut off by her parents, Samantha West is in pretty dire straits. So when her rocker best friend hooks her up with a job dancing at a gentlemen’s club, who is she to turn it down? Plus, there are rules to dancing at Benny’s: No touching, keep your clothes on at all times, and never get closer than three feet. Unfortunately for Sam, her first private client makes her want to break every single one of them.
Harrison Yates is scorching hot, but he’s got a past that involves being left at the altar not too long ago. Sam is determined to make him forget about his ex, but when she makes her move, it flings her life into a spiral of chaos she never saw coming.
Because Harrison Yates isn’t who he seems to be. And his secret will probably get her killed.

With Harrison added to the list of men in the Little Too Far series, what was the challenge of straying away from Trent and Alessandro and making him stand out as much as he did?
Each of my A Little Too Far series men stands on his own. They are so amazingly different from one another, from their upbringings, to their musical preferences, to their taste in women (with some Lexie crossover, of course ;p). But, honestly, it’s not really a challenge to make them stand out. Harrison, just like all my characters, came to me fully formed, from his cowboy boots, to his glacier blue eyes, to the color of his hair, and every tattoo and chiseled feature in between.
For each of us, our life experiences shape and define us. Trent is sensitive and soulful, and he expresses things he can’t find other outlets for through his music. Alessandro is one of the most conflicted characters I’ll ever write, and his dance with his demons is painful to watch at times, but so incredibly liberating when he finally comes to terms with them. Harrison is more badass than either of the other ALTF boys. He hates hard and loves harder. He’s not someone you want to cross, but he’s loyal and true and will do anything to protect those he loves. But he also has a strong moral compass and is one to toe the line…and Sam is so far over the line it’s not even funny. So, to him, it’s a basic question of right versus wrong. But when the thing that you want more than anything is the one thing you can’t have, it sets up an interesting story.
So, in A LITTLE TOO HOT (which I really should have titled A LOT TOO HOT, according to Katy Evans) we watch as Harrison struggles to toe the line, when what he really wants is to dive over it for the score. Fun for us. Not so much fun for him.

REVIEW EXCERPT:
Desrochers has been a favorite of mine since her young adult series and she really knows how to turn it up a notch in her new adult series A Little Too Far. Book three of the series, this was by far my favorite, I couldn’t get enough of the tension between the two protagonists and the plot line that kept me on my toes until the very end.Sam is a tough as nails type of girl, being able to handle expressing herself in dance take a lot of guts. For me a girl doing what she must to survive and pay the bills, it sometimes takes a path that may not be a dream but reality. I feel that she is the strongest out of the three females in this series, because of the tough situation she is put in, the heartbreak that her best friend put her through and the one man that put her in danger also makes her heart skip a beat. All through out I rooted for this girl to get one piece of happiness and hoped that something would go right. I enjoyed her journey and the relationship between Harrison and her was super hot!

Lisa Desrochers is the USA Today bestselling author of A LITTLE TOO FAR , courtesy of HarperCollins, and companions, A LITTLE TOO MUCH (Nov 12, 2013), and A LITTLE TOO HOT (Jan 21, 2014). Also in stores is her YA PERSONAL DEMONS trilogy (Macmillan).
She lives in central California with her husband and two very busy daughters. There is never a time that she can be found without a book in her hand, and she adores stories that take her to new places, and then take her by surprise.

Description…
In the follow-up to Lisa Desrochers’ explosive New Adult novel A Little too Far, Alessandro Moretti must face the life he escaped and the girl he loved and left behind.
Twenty-two year old Hilary McIntyre would like nothing more than to forget her past. As a teenager abandoned to the system, she faced some pretty dark times. But now that’s all behind her. Hilary has her life on track, and there’s no way she’ll head back down that road again.
Until Alessandro Moretti—the one person who can make her remember—shows up on her doorstep. He’s even more devastatingly gorgeous than before, and he’s much too close for comfort. Worse, he sees right through the walls she’s built over these last eight years, right into her heart and the secrets she’s guarding.
As Hilary finds herself falling back into love with the man who, as a boy both saved and destroyed her, she must decide. Past or future? Truth or lies?
