BLURB:
Presley Flynn is ripe to experience her secret fantasies . . . and Dmitri Pratt wants nothing more than to fulfill them. Once inside the elite Club Sin in Las Vegas, Presley is nervous but excited—and determined to surrender to her every desire. Dmitri is her Master, and his touch is like fire. With each careful, calculated caress, he unleashes her wildest inhibitions, giving her unimagined pleasure.

Presley is different than the other submissives Dmitri has mastered. The BDSM lifestyle is new to her, and so are the games they play at Club Sin. From the start, Presley stirs emotions in him far beyond the raw purity between a dom and the perfect sub. For the ecstasy they share goes beyond the dungeon igniting a passion that claims the very depths of the heart.

REVIEW:

I’m a big fan of Stacey Kennedy’s writing and I saw that her latest release Claimed was at the top of the list on Amazon, so I had to check it out. After reading the first two Fifty Shades of Grey books I didn’t mind stepping out of my comfort zone and trying a more intense novel.

Claimed follows Presley Flynn a girl who has just gotten out of a bad relationship after her long time boyfriend cheated on her. She always felt there was something missing in their relationship and when her roommate tells her about a club she goes to called Club Sin, she realizes this might be that missing piece. Presley meets club owner Dmitri who is someone that opens her up to a world she only read about in books. Club Sin brings to life the passion she has always wanted and Dmitri is the only man who can make it happen.

Presley is like many girls in the world who have dealt with heartbreak. But for Presley, she realizes that she may have just been with the wrong man, when she meets Dmitri the very fire she was missing finally ignites. Presley is a submissive who didn’t know much about the world of BDSM, her roommate introduces her to Dmitri who see’s the woman he’s been looking for, the one that hits his emotional and protective side. I loved their passion and chemistry; right off the two have this spark. Presley has a lot to learn about the life of a submissive and what it means to not be so nice and speak up for how she truly feels. Dmitri teaches her a lot and even though some bits were a little too intense for me, it added to their intense bonding that grew to something more.

Dmitri is a successful businessman, taking over a casino in place of a long time mentor and friend. To which introduced him to a world that he didn’t know he belonged in, being a Master. He opens up Club Sin for those who want to explore their dominant and submissive sides without judgment. Dmitri is a man any girl would fall for and seriously has his heart in the right place, though he can be a little too over the top at times. I liked his protective nature and the care he takes with friends and Presley.

Overall I enjoyed this quick read, though it was out of my norm of novels I liked that the characters were so real and easy to care and connect too. They both have a lot to learn from each other as well as find what they didn’t know was missing. For me I did get a bit uncomfortable with some of the scenes but I respected the way the dominates/masters controlled themselves and had limits to keep their submissive safe and respected. The readers get to meet a lot of side characters like Presley’s roomie Cora and her Master Aidan, I’m looking forward to their story as there is so much behind their lives I cant wait to learn about. In the end, I only wished the ending wasn’t so rushed, I wanted more but I look forward to continuing this series in Bared.

NOTE:
This is an adult novel meant for mature readers over the age of 18 for its sexual content.
