Spring Blog Carnival: Masquerade Booth Challenge + Giveaway

Pure Imagination,  Candace's Book Blog, and Reading Angel are throwing the second annual Spring Blog Carnival! Today is the day to check out all the wonderful booth with challenges and giveaways! It runs from May 7th to the 13th!

I would like to welcome everyone to the:
Mysterious Masquerade Booth!

Wearing a mask gives you the power of mystery, each mask below has a story and each girl has a bit of mystery. Now that the mask have been revealed its your turn to be apart of the Masquerade.

The challenge is to guess that book! Each image below is from a fabulous book that has a mask on the cover. All you need to do is guess images 1- 4 and tell me what book that mask is from and answer in the rafflecopter area.

  1. All of those masks for the covers are gorgeous. I have never been to a masquerade...or even a fancy dress part (which is very annoying as The Phantom of the Opera in one of my favourite books)My choice of a mask would be one that you held to your face on a stick, not one that you attached with elastic. It would be bronze and silver with antennae and wings, like a butterfly :)

  4. I'd KILL to go to a Masquerade! If I did, I'd probably go for a faerie-like butterfly mask or a black swan mask!

  6. I have been to a masquerade party!! Actually it was our prom and we decided to make it as a masquerade prom!! haha,
    my mask looked like the 4th picture above, it was silver and the edges were outlined by sequences but the only difference was the color(silver).. also the part around the holes were covered by glitters :D

  7. I have never been to a Masquerade party :( but if i do get the chance i would look like the one the cover of Incarnate...so colorful and apt for spring!! :)

  8. I've been to a masquerade at a convention before, and I wore a gold mask with purple and lavender butterflies painted on it to match the gold obi I wore with my purple kimono. :)

  12. Our middle school dances were Mardi Gras balls (gotta love Louisiana!), so I went to them growing up. The only mask I remember is from the last ball I attended (which I usually do not acknowledge). It was blue with silver and white glitter trim, and it had blue and white beads hanging from strands along the bottom of the mask. It was pretty. :-)

  16. I have never been a masquerade (though I think the idea was raised for prom). I would definitely wear a V for Vendetta mask.
