REVIEW:
Ever since Rachel Vincent’s Shifter series I’ve been a fan and I was extremely excited for her new series. Blood Bound was very original, the characters, plot and writing were everything I loved about her first series.

Blood Bound follows Liv Warren, a young woman with a special talent for tracking people down by just having a sample of their blood.  But when an old friend comes to ask her to help find who murdered her husband, the tracking leads to very dangerous people and secrets that lead to even more danger. But Liv is not alone in her case; she has to deal with her past love Cam who also has a special gift and still makes her heart beat faster. Those who are bound by a mark are bound for life; everyone wants to find a way out and Liv is one of them.

Liv is a woman that lost everything she loved and then got caught in a hard situation. She works for a man who is not only powerful, but she can never escape him or the job she has to finish for him. I loved how tough she is, never backs down and doesn’t take anyone’s bullying.

Cam was the love of Liv’s life but something destroyed what they had and Liv left. He never stopped loving her and when he finally gets the chance to talk to her he’ll do anything to get her back. I loved their chemistry and how they worked together.

Overall I thought the idea of being bound to a boss, was interesting, it’s a lot like the mafia only the marks that bind you means they own you. It was a very interesting and exciting plot, I never new what was going to happen next and was shocked with the ending, which was a fantastic twist. I highly recommend Rachel Vincent’s new series.

RECOMMENDATION:
This is an adult book with minor violence and sexual content. Fans of Devon Monk and Karen Chance will love this thrilling new Urban Fantasy.

  1. I recently finished this one and just adored it :) I can't wait to read the next book and I'm thinking that I should put the 1st book in her YA series on hold at the library. Great review and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it as well :)
