BLURB:
For a moment, Darcy almost convinced herself the last twelve hours didn’t happen. As image after image hits her, the sinking realization of all she’s lost overwhelms her and all she can think of is to run. Run far away where her shame can’t find her, and most of all, where she’ll never have to see the look of blame in Mason’s eyes. Feeling like a complete failure, she scrambles to make plans. But the voice of her mate-to-be penetrates her frantic thoughts, asking for the chance to show her just how much she is loved.

It hurts Mason deeply to hear Darcy’s thoughts, knowing the events of the previous night have completely rattled her. Grieving over the death of his beloved sister Jasmine, Mason knows he has to act fast. Darcy is all he’s ever wanted and the idea of life without her is unacceptable. Armed with his unswerving love and wolfish charm, he sets out to remind Darcy just how valuable she is and why there is no one else for him but her.

Can Darcy let go of the shame of failure consuming her or will Mason convince her that after all is said and done, she truly is… Cherished?

REVIEW:
Oh how I wish the Mystic Wolves novellas were longer, I get so into the story and characters and then it ends. Belinda Boring really knows how to draw me into her story by getting into the emotional side of the characters.

Cherished starts off where the first novella left off and I was excited to get to know more about Darcy and her alpha; Mason a lot more. This novella was focused directly on these two and the grief from the aftermath in Without Mercy.

Darcy feels fully responsible for the loss of Mason’s sister but Mason will do everything he can to show her how much he loves her and how it wasn’t her fault. Their chemistry is undeniable and the readers get a look into their past on how they first met and why their destined to be mated.

Darcy is a tough girl but her emotions really take over and I felt she was almost being childish in the way she acted. Mason has lost his sister and I felt needed his mate to be more supportive as well instead of making him feel worse.

Overall I enjoyed the compassion and love that Darcy and Mason have and developed over the years. I loved Mason and how much he loves Darcy, also that he wants to encourage and protect her. Cherished really went in depth with their relationship and I was happy to get to know them and move forward with the story. I recommend this novella, its short, to the point and we get some steamy scene with the two leads.

  1. Good review, I haven't read any of these books but they sound like they might should go in my wish list.
