The Big Sleep

Question this week from parajukee

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?

A.  I would have to say a lot has change in my reading genre. I was very into mystery and I really enjoyed Sue Grafton because she used my hometown as a setting and Raymond Chandler, who wrote the Big Sleep classic. But now I read Paranormal Romance, Science Fiction Fantasy, Horror and Romance. Ranging from Laurell K Hamilton,  Gini Koch, Gena Showalter, and many more. I'm not sure what changed besides me growing up and always loving paranormal and science fiction movies, but I just haven't read a mystery book in a long time.

Question of the week: Crazy-For-Books
Q. Highlight one or two titles in your personal collection that have the most interesting titles.
Bleeder (Apocalypto, #3)

A.  Most interesting would be the latest novel I just read called Bleeder. The reason for this title is because the world that is written in the book has young woman who are chosen a taught to be the consorts to the kings of their world and have their heirs. Bleeder stands for the woman a chosen when they bleed as in they enter maturity. It's quite an interesting story line that shocked me at first.

I didn't think Bleeder was that unusual of a title until I read your description of where that title comes from! Very interesting!
