Happy Follow Friday! and Blog Hop

Follow Friday is a meme hosted by Parajunkee and this weeks feature is Confessions of a Page Turner.

Q. Inspire by the insane twitter trend of #100FACTSABOUTME, give us five book related silly facts about you?

  • I'm addicted to my kindle, its like my pet and it goes everywhere with me. But I still love a real book.
  • I have many book husbands that I keep secret from my real husband (:
  • I don't let people borrow my books because I freak out if they bend the pages or crack the spine. My friend cried once when I let her borrow one because she spilled coffee on it. She bought me a new one lol, I guess she knew I'd freak.
  • I'm guilty of judging books by their covers, but I'm starting to break free of it.
  • I can't read a book without a little romance, I don't know why but I need it lol.
  • The book I'm reading at the moment is always next to my bed, I have to read it when i wake up and I need to read it when I go to bed.
  • When something exciting happens in a book I usually get super excited and I have to go and tell someone what happened. Pretty much all the time my friends and family just nod and pretend to know what I'm talking about.
What About you??

Join the blog hop over at Crazy-for-Books.com. Here is the question for this week.

"If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?"

Series: Elemental Assassins by Jennifer Estep -

I would be in the elemental Series because I want to be Gin (:

I chose this series because I really like Gin's personality, she's a tough girl who fights for family and justice for others who aren't power hungry. Plus having powers over two elements and using them to kick some series bad guy butt is pretty awesome I might say. Also I have to add the Owen is just sexy as hell and I would mind having a man like him who makes awesome weapons by my side (:

  10. Hi there! Old follower stopping by for the Friday blog hop, and wanted to say great pick for your series! I'll have to check it out as I've heard great things :-)

LOL I thought it was endearing that you want to keep your books in such pristine condition as I'm like that, as well. Most of my friends don't read what I do, so it's not a big worry these days ;-)

  19. Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to http://www.howardsherman.net to find out what it is.

    Happy Hop Friday!
